Champion is looking for a full-time strength coach to join our team!

We’re looking for a dynamic and hard-working Sports Performance Coach to join our amazing team at Champion. Our mission at Champion is to help athletes reach their potential by restoring, optimizing and enhancing their performance to get the most out of their bodies. We do this by providing an integration of elite level physical therapy and strength and conditioning based on each person’s individual needs and goals. 

You’ll have an opportunity to work in a dynamic integrated model of sports performance, adult fitness, and physical therapy. You will be heavily involved with our sports performance athletes of all levels including: middle and high school, collegiate and professional. You will also have the opportunity to use state of the art technology such as Force Plates, Laser Timing Gates, and VBT Devices to assess athletic performance and guide clients’ training and programming. You will also be a part of our many in-house educational opportunities, including weekly in-services with our Strength Interns and Physical Therapy Students.

We value people that are team oriented, passionate about helping people through fitness and driven to continue growing as an individual. We’re looking for a coach that is outgoing, friendly, reliable, and competent at coaching, programming, and running training sessions.

Coaching hours vary based on time of year and may include a variety of times including Saturday mornings, early weekday mornings, and weekday evening hours.

  • Basic understanding of coaching cues, programming, and running training sessions in a semi-private training model
  • Strong desire to advance yourself and your skills
  • Passion for working with athletes of all levels
  • Eagerness and open-mindedness to learning the Champion System and being part of a team
  • Exceptional people skills, communication skills, and professionalism to allow interactions with clients, parents, coaches, and other Champion team members
  • Uphold all of the Champion Core Values at all times

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field
  • First Aid/CPR Certification
  • C-PS, CSCS, NASM, CFSC, or Personal Training certification
  • Compensation will vary based on experience
